Creative minds, students, and art lovers come to Italy to discover a place that has always revered artists. They find inspiration in the timeless light, the handwork of artists, architects and designers who have flourished here throughout the ages. Italy is a living museum where hungry minds can feed on an enormous selection of cultural heritage that is condensed into a country the size of the sate of Arizona. Nowhere else in the western world is there such a history of humanity where a student can learn through discovery.

The Italy Art Workshops operates on a modest budget that maintains itself each year through the workshop fees. The costs of equipment, transportation and instructors leaves us with little funding for scholarships, or inviting talented artists to remain in residence for further instruction.

We kindly ask that you consider providing a donation, or offer an annual pledge that is earmarked for scholarships. Awarded scholarships are based on recommendations from the student’s school department, and a review of each applicant’s economic situation is carefully considered in advance.

$3500    A full one-week scholarship for one student including meals and round trip airfare.

$5000    A full two-week scholarship for one student including meals and round trip airfare.

$9000    Will support our library for one year. We currently have over 400 volumes of beautiful books, artists’ oeuvres, and print folios awaiting a shelf in our planned library.
