Learning Outdoors

Centuries of tradition for learning and lounging.

All of our locations have beautiful shaded views overlooking the Umbrian hills. When possible, we like to host workshop lessons outside where some locations offer elegant grand gazebos, or covered outdoor patios.

To the romantic writers of the 19th century, this would have been a standard place where friends would pass the afternoon while sipping on Lemoncello and recounting verses of freshly penned poetry.

Today, we often hold lectures under the soft ambient glow of a canopy, or dinners by lanterns flickering with candlelight. When available, this is an excellent place for anyone who loves to sketch outside with protection from the sun.
