Art Supplies: Materials Provided

If you wish to travel far, travel light.

We provide some of the art supplies requested by instructors, plus the essential heavy equipment and materials that would be too burdensome to bring to Italy. Our studios are fully equipped with easels, sculpting stands, lights, cooking equipment for culinary workshops and cleaning supplies at no extra charge.

Each workshop description contains a list of “Supplies to bring” which participants are responsible for purchasing on their own and bringing to Italy. Please read this list carefully, as traveling to art supply stores from our location can take away from valuable creative time. If you have specific supplies that you enjoy working with, such as brushes, paints or pencils, you should bring them with you because they may be difficult to find or more expensive in Italy.

After we receive your workshop deposit, you will be given access to our online Workshop Handbook, which can be, printed and brought with you. The Workshop Handbook is full of essential information about art supplies and airport restrictions, courier services for sending your supplies in advance and mailing your items home. We also included a list of local art stores, and “Creativity Packs,” where we purchase everything you need and have it waiting for you when you arrive at the Italy Art Workshops.
